After a very early start for the peewees (and the parents) their first game was against London Knights at Hatfield.
The knights start with a very short bench with no substitutes but from the start played with determination. The assassins took an early lead in the first period with 1 goal each from the Mills brothers Callum and Hayden. Great defensive work from the assassins and the First period finishes 2-0.
2nd period saw further good play from both teams with some great saves from both keepers. Knights score 1 but Assassins hold strong defensively and continue to attack eventually being rewarded with 2 goals from Hayden Mills followed by a further from Callum mills. Great team work by the brothers and great play all round, second period ended 5-1!
Third period the knights were tiring but still trying there best and scored making it 5-2 but the assassins again with great defending answered with two further goals for the period by Callum mills and Harrison finishing off the match at 7-2 to the assassins. Well played peewee teams!
